Dr. Barbara Nesbitt is an educator with 27 years of experience in public school education. Barbara has been a teacher, instructional coach, technology coach, independent consultant and district-level coordinator. Currently she is the Early Childhood, Elementary, and Instructional Technology Coordinator for the School District of Pickens County in upstate South Carolina. She earned a B.S. degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, a Masters of Education degree in School Policy Studies at the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. in educational leadership at Clemson University. Barbara’s passion is to help teachers learn to engage students in critical thinking skills through the use of engaging technologies.
